Hartz oatmeal flea and tick shampoo nearly killed our beloved family dog. On Sunday January 15th 2023 my husband and I bathed our dog in HARTZ oatmeal flea and tick shampoo and within a few hours she was vomiting and lethargic. We also began to see lesions and lumps start popping up on her head and by the time we got to the vet she was having a stroke and could no longer walk on her own. The vet told us to prepare for the worst. Our hearts were shattered as we had to leave our fur baby in the hospital for days as the vet tried to figure out why our very healthy dog became so very sick out of nowhere. We told the vet we had bathed her in HARTZ oatmeal flea and tick shampoo and they told us to never ever use their products because they are so toxic and dangerous. Thankfully our dog survived but she still has neurological issues and lumps in her head and We were left with a massive vet bill. 
  We need to get HARTZ products banned from being sold in our local stores and all over the country so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else’s pet. I’ve read so many other testimonies about their pets being poisoned by HARTZ products. How many more animals have to die before we put a stop to this?? 
 If we do nothing, there will be no change and more animals and families will fall victim of this Company. We must take immediate action against them and put a stop to this animal cruelty once and for all! You can see in the picture how swollen the right side of her head became within 2 days of using the shampoo. The picture was taken just outside the vet hospital right before she was admitted.
