We need to stop all backyard breeders to ensure healthy dogs. I purchased my King Charles cavalier from a backyard breeder who had no clue about the genetic flaws in cavaliers, I myself had no idea at the time till my dog succumbed to mitral valve disease a disease that cannot be cured! 
Some dog breeds need health testing, genetic testing and prior history of ancestors. I believe most backyard breeders do not have a clue about this and if they do they wouldn’t have the money to fund the cost of the above tests that are essential in breeding a healthy dog. 
If we star together and sign the petition we can end people breeding for monetary purposes. 
Pls sign this petition to make a change and give our dogs the best start in life that we can. 
Once this petition is signed then we can take it to the powers that be to hopefully agree that backyard breeding should be a thing of the past.
