Stop AI from taking human jobs
The Issue
Millions of jobs are at risk or have already been taken by artificial intelligence (AI) and automated systems. These technologies do not pay taxes, do not engage in human interaction, and do not perform everyday helpful tasks such as assisting people with their groceries, retrieving luggage from the car boot, and many other things that require a human touch, empathy and skill.
The rapid pace of AI and automation is threatening to replace jobs across various sectors even including Music and Art, Manufacturing, service industries, retail, transportation, and many more fields are affected. While technology was initially meant to assist humans, it is now replacing them in roles where personal interaction and judgment are crucial.
Consider this: 47% of jobs in the United States are at risk due to automation, according to a study by Oxford University. Additionally, the McKinsey Global Institute suggests that automation could displace as many as 800 million jobs globally by 2030. These numbers are not just statistics—they represent families, communities, and livelihoods at stake.
AI does not contribute to our society by paying taxes, contributing to communities, or offering the compassion and understanding that only humans can provide. Machines should be tools that enable and empower human beings—not replace them.
By regulating the use of AI and computerized automated systems in a way that they supplement but do not replace human labor, we can ensure job security for millions, maintain a stable economy, and preserve the dignity of human workers.
