1  Adelaide Park Lands Association Stop the Chop Rally
     Saturday 28 February, 12 noon, at Montefiore Hill.

Hello everyone,

Festival Plaza is technically part of the Adelaide Park Lands and so the Park Lands Association and the Save Festival Plaza Alliance have common cause in protecting against the planned brutal assault on our urban forest/golf course to accommodate LIV Golf on the one hand, and the serious misappropriation of our parliamentary plaza for the Premier’s own reasons on the other. 

We have rallied together before and support each other strongly as these two threatened actions involve Adelaide’s two most famous and significant features: its Parliament with its extraordinary global achievement in women’s full democracy, and the City in a Park concept of Colonel Light that is still world-leading after nearly two hundred years.

You are being asked to bring your own sign, and a toy axe or toy chainsaw as a message to the Premier. We encourage you to register, but please, just come, to push back as hard as we can to be given a voice in how our city’s most critical assets are used.

2  We still could do with more volunteers for our presence at the Fringe. Last night went very well.

Please, if you have some time, we would love to see you. It’s a work-in-progress, but what seems to work best is to have a small group of us at a time.
