The Issue

Charles Levine spent 30 years in the U.S. Army. He led troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, earned three Bronze Stars, crawled through Taliban caves, and missed countless milestones at home to serve our country. He didn’t hesitate to stay longer when asked, and he kept teaching cadets at West Point because he believed in duty.

Now, he and his wife are stuck with over $40,000 in moving expenses after the Army denied them the standard relocation support given to nearly every retiring service member.

Why? Because he chose to serve longer.

This is a betrayal.

After decades of sacrifice, including five deployments, years of separation from loved ones, and unwavering dedication, Charles and Ginger Levine are now drowning in unexpected debt, paying for two homes they can’t afford.

They didn’t ask for special treatment. They trusted the promises made to them.

We are demanding that the Department of Defense and Army leadership immediately restore Charles Levine’s moving benefits and fix this broken policy so no other soldier faces the same punishment for doing the right thing.

Honor your promise. Stand by our veterans. Sign now.
