Neal Boortz is a prominent talk radio host in Atlanta and nationwide. He is also a racist who advocates the use of violence in the streets.

He had this to say in one of his recent programs:

"We got too many damn urban thugs, yo, ruining the quality of life for everybody. And I'll tell you what it's gonna take. You people, you are - you need to have a gun. You need to have training. You need to know how to use that gun. You need to get a permit to carry that gun. And you do in fact need to carry that gun and we need to see some dead thugs littering the landscape in Atlanta. We need more dead thugs in this city."

This kind of rhetoric can only be useful for advocating violence. The context of an urban area and the use of words like "thug" and "yo" indicates a racist tone. And even if you are not convinced that this is an example of racism, ask yourself if we need DEAD ANYTHINGS littering our landscapes. We need to get this radio host off the air so he can no longer spread his message of hate. Please petition this media outlet to take him off the air.
