A company called Kimco has applied for zoning approval to build 800 apartments on the west side of the Dr. Phillips Marketplace. As we understand it, they will remove the Office Depot and Home Goods (and assuming the bridal shop) in the process. Traffic is already untenable in the Dr. Phillips area and this will increase it tremendously. This development may also set a new standard for building heights.
