The Issue

PETITION TO OPPOSE the Construction of a 70-Foot Hotel in Greenfield Park Neighborhood

VIOLATING TOWN ORDINANCES

➢ We urgently need your support to oppose the proposed construction of a 70-Foot hotel in the Greenfield Park Neighborhood, which violatestown ordinances!

➢ Threatens our Community’s Quality of Life.

➢ Town Ordinances clearly state that structures cannot exceed 36 feet in height, yet the proposed hotel towers at 70 feet.

➢ Additionally, ordinances require a minimum distance of 200 feet from the nearest residence, but this hotel would be built just 100 feet from the closest home, posing significant privacy and safety concerns.

➢ Furthermore, the hotel’s parking lot is planned to be elevated 10- 20 feet above street level on Hillcrest Drive, exacerbating the disruption to our neighborhood’s character and environment.

➢ Join us in signing this petition to protect Greenfield Park and ensure our town enforces its own ordinances.

➢ Call or email the mayor and town board commissioners before the vote on Tuesday, October 21, 6:00 PM, Town Hall, Huntersville NC.
