Planning permission is with South Dublin County Council to build a 24 meter telecoms mast on the site of  Esker House, Lucan.

This goes against the 1996 Telecom Guidelines which state that only as a "last resort should free standing masts be located within immediate surrounds of smaller towns.

This proposed mast is both surrounded by residential areas and on the site of this historic listed building.

Please sign the petition to help make the case to reject this planning and to ensure that masts are placed in the most suitable areas that minimise impact on heritage and residents.
