Hello everyone,

I discovered by talking to my friends, that Eagle Ridge, and the other schools they go to, have Honor Rolls, or quarterly awards. This award is given to students who have a grade average of >89%, but since we are doing virtual learning right now, it might be hard, but somehow, my friends still get sent the certificates despite it being virtual learning. Since I think that a lot of parents complained, the school might not listen to our parents, but will listen to their students. This is not a petition, do not consider it that way, I just want to know who agrees with me? Who wants Honor Rolls back? Put your first and last name below under the correct grade level if you want Honor Rolls back. Share it with everyone you know who is a student at Stone Hill! 

(Background info: Honor Rolls were a thing at Stone Hill, but when I joined the school, I found out they just stopped doing that.)

Why should we have Honor Rolls? The Honor Roll party and certificates motivated students to do good in school because they would have some fruits of their labor to celebrate. It gives students an obvious goal for the end of the quarter, and can motivate other students to try their best to get good grades. Instead of feeling jealous, these students can work hard to receive a reward to show that their hard work has paid off.
