Hi Everyone,

I am starting this petition because as a stockton EOF student I’m concerned about the summer academy being online. Many other EOF students and myself have been communicating and have come to realize that Virtual EOF would not be something all of us want. We have tried to figure out ways we could use our voices and have the academy happen for us at stockton and not virtual and we have started with this petition.

Covid-19 (Coronavirus) has already taken so much away from us. Our senior year, senior plans, prom, and graduation. We don’t want this taken away from us as well. This is something many students like myself were looking forward to. The state has opened back up and many places are opening back up. We should be able to be on campus.

Many students don’t have an environment at home to study. We might have noisy households or difficulty concentrating when you aren’t in a classroom with teachers to help you. Other New Jersey universities are having their EOF summer academy take place at the school therefore we should also be able to do so.

With social distancing rules in place and the school following CDC guidelines we should be able to have the summer academy at Stockton. It’s an experience none of us should have to miss out on. Sign this petition and help us voice our opinion.
