My name is Neva Facer!  As a sophmore at Sussex Tech, I have seen how negative changes effect student's mental health, including my own. Our students had finally started adjusting to online learning, and now admin. has implemented Marking Period 2 changes, which double the zoom sessions.  This policy change rips all sense of the structure we had become moderately comfortable with. Had the administration asked for our input, they would have found that more sessions would only be harmful. Zoom sessions take away time that would have been used to do assignments. Myself and my peers already dedicate 10-14 hours per day Mon-Thurs.

 I propose making at least 2 of the four zoom days optional.

I hope that all sths students will come out of this feeling like they contributed to change and benefited their education for the better. The future of our teenagers is important, and we need to take a stand for what we believe is unfair.
