I have grown up in Sussex County my entire life, along with hundreds of other long time residents. We have seen major changes in our town of Newton which have not been for the better. Crime has gone up involving drug related incidents on an ongoing basis, loitering is a major issue on Spring Street impacting businesses. Now a Taco Bell is going to be constructed in our historical town? This will have a negative impact on not only residents nearby, but small business owners that have worked hard to keep their businesses going for 30 years or more, traffic will worsen and so will hang out place for more disgruntled teens to sell drugs. Why would you negatively impact the community?
