In the small town of Bedford we got everything from restaurants and shops to soccer and baseball fields right at our fingertips but one thing Bedford doesn’t have is a skatepark.Bedford has such a big population of people who love to scooter and ride bmx or skateboard but we have no park.Instead of putting up more condos or apartments put up something everyone from all ages can enjoy.It keeps us from getting yelled at for scootering right up the middle of the road or grinding a sick rail on bmx bike or trying to kickflip a staircase.The only ramps we have are a quarter pipe and a flap rail by weir field.To go to a decent skatepark you have to go to sackville.Windsor Nova Scotia has a amazing skatepark and they have less than half the population Bedford does.
