As of 2020, in the middle of a pandemic, nursing students and medical students working minimum 12 hour shifts in Irish hospitals do the same duties as senior qualified colleagues but  for free and won’t even receive a meal while on duty. Just like medics they too are under significant stress and pressure due to the ongoing pandemic and with bruised faces due to the face masks.

We as a people are dependant on them to treat us in the future and to stay in Ireland during their career and to show our appreciation of their current and future work- Please sign this petition to at the very least give them a decent meal while on shift as a token for the work that they do. 

Most hospitals have food left over every day. Instead of binning it give it to the future of our health care professionals who are students and in this pandemic - also risk Their lives for us all and who also most likely have no income but student loans.
