The Borun brothers started selling Thrifty ice cream in their drug stores in the 1930's. As a young child, I recall the thrill of buying Thrifty ice cream. Now that Walgreens is acquiring Rite Aid, I would hope Walgreens will not let this product melt away from their stores. PLEASE SAVE THRIFTY ICE CREAM!!!
