As a resident of Denby Road, Hawera of 25 years, I want the New Pathway which is a great asset to South Taranaki to be made safe for our local families.

I am suggesting the following suggestions be considered by our local councillors' at the up coming Long Term Plan: CLOSING 7th MAY 2021

Lighting along the pathway for early morning and late evening users, to keep them safe and visible to passing cars. 

Barriers on sharp corners, and where the roadside camber is steep especially where the pathway is within a metre from the road, and there is no safety barrier between fast travelling cars and our families. 

Reduction of Speed limit as this road once was  classed as a rural area, and now is predominantly residential housing, and is highly populated. 

Please support this cause, and help make the pathway safe for all of our community to use and enjoy. All submissions are required by 07.05.21.
