Illinois has made great contributions to rock music over the past several decades, and it's about time we recognized it. If "Do You Realize?" can be named Oklahoma's State Rock Song, I think Wilco's "What Light" deserves to be honored by this fine state. Not only does the song have uplifting lyrics, but both the song and the band embody the independent spirit of the people in Illinois (both Northern AND Southern Illinois!).

So what do you say? Let's honor Wilco by making "What Light" our state rock song!
