I am seeking help for a child in Florida that was raped molested and abused by her stepfather, Alex Salgado, multiple times. He performed oral sex, raped her, masterbated and ejaculated on her on multiple days. She told the police that he used a towel to clean off his semen and her, and threw the towel in the closet. Alex Salgado, the sex predator, gave the police verbal consent to go inside of his workshop and search, where then the police obtained the towel in the closet described. It took about six months for DNA and forensics to come back,  and then finally everything came back positive. They started off with 15 years then went down to 10 and just recently said that they would stay at five years and he has already done two which would only leave him with another two years because they don’t do 100% of the time. This young girl has been traumatized and scarred for the rest of her life, she is willing and wanting to go to trial and stand up for herself and other like children /girls around the world. They are now saying that the evidence they found can be thrown out if they do go to trial because the police did not obtain an official court ordered search warrant, but they did have verbal consent from him. I am writing to be a voice to this case and prevent him from getting out on such short terms to stop him from doing this again to another child. Kailani is a strong individual and has written a three page letter describing what this has done to her and how it has affected her, her sisters, and family as a whole. Please stop this man from being released so soon, or allow the evidence to be used in trial. The next court date was scheduled for next Friday but state prosecutor, Laura Adams, contacted this past Friday and moved the court date to Monday. Please we need to be a voice for this young girl and girls around the world. She was 10 years old when he did these things to her and this crime is a CAPITAL FELONY in the State of Florida carrying the MINIMUM sentence for such a crime is LIFE IN PRISON or DEATH. This man has prior violate charges and raped his sister when she was also a child.
