Britney Spears has been under the celebrity spotlight for decades. Along with many other celebrities, she had expressed her growing fear of being hunted by paparazzi. Paparazzi’s main goal is to get the shot, get the photograph that will earn them millions - AT ANY COST. Celebrities also have a right to privacy. What we see on screen is an act for entertainment purposes and does not give society a right to access their private lives. Some celebrities have moved overseas to countries that provide stricter paparazzi laws, all in an effort to protect their minor children and families. Minor children are often photographed with their celebrity parents. This is disgusting. No child should be hunted, exposed, photographed, and then sold for a profit. While there is no expectation of privacy in a public setting, the means to capture these public photos have even lead to death. Have we learned nothing from the death of Princess Diana?! This is an international problem and it is my hope and determination to spread this effort world wide. Paparazzi do not just violate personal safety of celebrities in public, they often breach access to celebrities private homes via drones, scaling walls and even helicopters.
