My brother, Brandon Mckinley Johnson, was murdered (shot and killed) by Joseph Moore III on October 18, 2002 after a high school football game. Brandon was 19 years old at the time of his death. He had dreams for his life that will now never be fulfilled. He was in his last year of high school and had plans to start service with the U.S. Marines. My family has a strong military background. All our hopes for him were destroyed.  My brother will never again stand in the sunshine. Never feel the waves at his feet on the beach. One of the places he was happiest. All of his potential is lost because of the actions of Joseph Moore III.

Inmate #229524- Joseph Moore III, is up for parole again. The parole hearing is scheduled July 29, 2020. Because of Covid-19 we will not be allowed to attend the hearing. They are only allowing us to send in written statements this time.

Joseph Moore III was sentenced on May 28, 2003 and charged with murder. His original release date is scheduled for May 15, 2023. He will still have a life when he is released. My brother no longer has his life. I’m asking for your help to keep this person in prison until he serves his maximum sentence.
