After 22 years of trading the state labor government has decided to undertake an "Expressions of Interest" which could permanently close Wilsons Boathouse which could also result in the redundancy of 20 staff members who are a vital part of the Wilsons Boathouse family.

Wilsons Boathouse has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars on renovations over the years, with a major refurbishment completed recently.
