On Monday, March 29, the Starz network let it be known that American Gods has been canceled. The series will not have a fourth season.
The decision was made because of the drastic drop in ratings and viewership. As of now, there is no word on whether a movie or an event series will be made. 

Many fans, heartbroken over premature end to series, were disappointed, feeling that there are many questions still left unanswered in the show’s plot.
