The world's first PRT system recently started operations at Heathrow Airport in England.  The USA needs to invest in this technology to bridge barriers (creeks, freeway, railroad tracks), connect major activity centers, feed high-volume transit hubs, and ultimately provide a transportation network that reduces our dependence on foreign oil.
