Start NEET MDS 2026 counselling
The Issue
To whosoever concerned (NBEMS, MCC, State counselling cell)
This is in reference to the hearing today (29/06/26) at Delhi High Court for Case No: W.P.(C)-8915/2026
The statement made by Adv Jayant Bamal about "students wanting delay in counselling" is absolutely false OR not representative of all students who have written NEET MDS 2026. The exam was given by nearly thirty one thousand students (31,000) and a petition filed by approximately one thousand students (1000) is not a unanimous voice.
The exam was conducted on 2nd May 2026, with results and scorecards out by 10th June 2026. Eversince then it's been almost 2 months since students have been waiting for counselling, at home, many with no jobs. This has had terrible impact on the mental health of many aspirants who might have made the cut off but are contemplating due to this uncertainty.
We also have a reason to believe that the HC case was stalling the counselling, as also mentioned by the advocate. However that's not what students wish for.
Therefore, we the aspirants of NEET MDS 2026 hereby request all the agencies involved to start the counselling for NEET MDS 2026, as soon as possible.
