Thousands of families are struggling with unsuitable housing for there disabled children and then adults.

On the news just today a family in Lancashire are in that situation and are having to remain in hospital as there home isn't suitable for there daughter.

We need to campaign for adaptable housing to be built and I don't meant 2 bedroom bungalows I mean 3,4,5 bedroom bungalows or houses. From small adaptations like ramps and wide doors to large adaptations like through floor lift, wetrooms and hoists.

We suffer enough with low income due to caring for our vulnerable people or paying high costs for carers to come in or respite. Is it too much to ask for a home safe enough to bring our children up and give them the life they deserve despite the struggles. 

To the government, address the issues with building standards and work with the councils to see how many families like mine need a house with adaptations and build them before there is a serious accident. 

Once a family is moved it will mean so much mentally and physically to them so please help us
