The past few years, the cost of living has sky-rocketed. Where once $100 of groceries used to fill your shopping cart, now it covers a corner of it. Something needs to be done. Cape breton has a cancer rate of 52%. We are forced to consume cancer causing foods because they are more affordable than vegetables and fruits. We deserve the option of healthy eating without breaking the bank. This is why we should start a community Garden. Volunteer a little of your time, or seeds and we can make a difference.
