Corporations like Starbucks has made record-breaking profits, even during the pandemic; the CEO Kevin Johnson makes twenty-million dollars a year. Meanwhile, Starbucks employees have been denied wages that adequately reflect the cost of living. In solidarity with over one hundred Starbucks locations nationwide, Cooper Point Village has courageously filed a petition to unionize. We need powerful allies to stand with us in the fight for a safe, rewarding, and equitable place of work.
