Ensign Harry Kim was a wet behind the ears Starfleet Academy graduate when he was marooned seventy thousand light years from home in the Delta Quadrant.

In the 7 year journey it took to get home, Harry went above and beyond the call of duty on countless occasions and never once gained a promotion for his dedication to the uniform, ship, and crew.

On occassions Harry would be hurled into an alternate reality and even then he had nothing but bad luck, on one occassion he was responsible for miscalculating an experiment that resulted in the death of the crew and the crashing of the ship.

18 years have past since Harry returned to the Alpha Quadrant and Earth. His love interest Seven of Nine will be teaming up with Jean Luc Picard in Star Trek Picard. If Harry Hasn't managed to hit it off with Seven in the last 18 years then atleast have him promoted to Lieutenant or higher.
