Stand with Transgender Air Force Members Suing Trump Admin Over Retirement Benefits
The Issue
They served with honor. Now they’re being forced out — without a dime.
17 transgender members of the U.S. Air Force and Space Force are suing the Trump administration after being removed from active duty just months before retirement.
Many of them served 15 to 18 years, meeting every standard and deploying to combat zones — only to be stripped of the benefits they’ve earned, including healthcare and $1–2 million in pensions.
This isn’t policy. It’s punishment.
Master Sergeant Logan Ireland, one of the lead plaintiffs, spent 15 years in uniform, including service in Afghanistan. He and others were issued retirement orders — then had those orders revoked after the administration’s military ban on transgender service members went into effect.
They’ve been cut off from medical care. Forced to leave the military without warning. And denied the ability to retire with dignity.
We’re calling on the Department of Defense and members of Congress to:
- Reinstate the retirement benefits and healthcare coverage of all transgender service members forced out under the ban
- Commit to honoring the service of these veterans, regardless of gender identity
- End the discriminatory military policy targeting transgender troops.
These are Americans who gave everything — and were betrayed.
Add your name to stand with the transgender veterans fighting for justice. Their battle shouldn't continue in court — it should be recognized in policy, and honored with the benefits they earned.
