We are writing this letter of gratitude on behalf of all the Indians who appreciate your bold commitment to stand for the life of the unborn through your presence in the March for Life in Chennai, August 2026. Amidst the backlash that you currently are facing for stating a biological reality that human life begins at conception and emphasizing in the public sphere the dignity and safety of every human life, we sincerely appreciate your resolve in standing firm.

A staggering 15.6 million innocent Indian children are murdered annually. This means that 15.6 million women and men are left wounded and broken in this country. Where is the justice? Where is the healing? Yet, this tragedy is celebrated as healthcare in our society. Our hearts are extremely burdened at the unwillingness of any government to talk about this unfolding crisis. We, as the minority community in India supporting the welfare of both women and children, continue to have no representation in public discourses, leaving our voices suppressed. 

Until you took the baton and chose to speak for life. Your words have reignited hope that there remain Indian Constitutional Office holders who carry a conscience sensitive to truth and morality. 

We urge you to stand firm in your commitment towards fiercely defending the dignity of life of all human beings, even as we acknowledge the overwhelming criticism targeted at you. You are not alone. We stand in solidarity with you. 

This support moves beyond Tamil Nadu and is expressed by Indians all over the country.
