OUR CHILDREN DESERVE BETTER!

We, the undersigned, support Herod Elementary principal Dr. Berry, who is highly qualified and shares the values of our school. We believe she and our school needs stability in order to serve the children who attend Herod Elementary.

We support Herod teachers, who are certified and experienced and who have invested daily in our students and community. Our teachers deserve respect, independence, and a safe environment so that they can teach our children. 

We support librarians, books, wrap-around services, janitorial/maintenance providers, teachers of the arts, extra-curricular activities, educational field trips, coordinators of unique and specialized programs such as Herod’s magnet program for Vanguard/Gifted and Talented and Dual Language program. 

We support the parents and children who deserve stability and a voice in their education.

We support the autonomy and stability of Herod Elementary and our community. We ask that Dr Berry remain in her position as principal of Herod Elementary. We ask that the teachers, janitorial staff, wrap-around service providers, etc. remain in their positions and be granted the autonomy and respect they deserve that is necessary for them to perform their jobs and to serve our children.
