Adriana Nunez-Gutierrez has been missing since February 2024. Her family, friends, and community continue to search for answers.

The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that Adriana’s case remains an active investigation and that, to their knowledge, she has had no known contact with anyone since her disappearance. We have also been told that there have been no major breaks in the case.

That is not an answer.

We understand that investigators cannot release information that could compromise an active investigation. However, the community deserves to know that Adriana’s disappearance is being thoroughly investigated and that every reasonable avenue is being pursued.

By signing this petition, we respectfully ask the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office to provide the community with a meaningful case update and address the following questions to the fullest extent legally possible.

WE ARE ASKING FOR ANSWERS:

1. What is the current status of Adriana’s case?
Is it still being actively investigated, and what is the current investigative priority?

2. What investigative steps have been completed since Adriana was reported missing?
Without compromising evidence, can investigators explain what major avenues have been pursued?

3. Have all known people connected to Adriana been identified and interviewed?
If investigators cannot discuss individual interviews, can they confirm whether this process has been completed?

4. Have investigators thoroughly reviewed Adriana’s digital footprint?
Including available phone, social media, messaging, financial, and other relevant records?

5. Have available surveillance, video, photographs, phone records, vehicle information, or other technological evidence been reviewed?

6. Have searches been conducted in all locations investigators believe may be relevant to Adriana’s disappearance?
If so, can the Sheriff’s Office provide a general overview of those efforts?

7. Have investigators followed up on every credible tip received?
And is there currently a backlog of tips or information awaiting investigation?

8. Have investigators identified any significant inconsistencies, unanswered questions, or unexplained circumstances surrounding Adriana’s disappearance?

9. Are there currently persons of interest, suspects, or other individuals investigators believe may have information relevant to Adriana’s disappearance?
We understand that names and investigative details may not be publicly disclosed.

10. What additional information does law enforcement need from the public?
Are there specific locations, time periods, vehicles, people, photographs, videos, or other information they are still seeking?

11. What can the community do right now to meaningfully assist the investigation?

12. When can the community expect another public update?

OUR REQUEST

We are not asking law enforcement to release confidential evidence or jeopardize the investigation.

We are asking for transparency, accountability, and reassurance that Adriana’s disappearance has not been forgotten.

Adriana deserves to be found.

Her family deserves answers.

And this community deserves to know that every reasonable effort is being made to bring her home.

We respectfully ask the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office to provide answers to these questions and continue pursuing Adriana’s case thoroughly until there are answers.
