The School of the Americas (SOA), in 2001 renamed the “Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation,” is a combat training school for Latin American soldiers, located at Fort Benning, Georgia.

SOA Watch is an independent organization that seeks to close the US Army School of the Americas, under whatever name it is called, through vigils and fasts, demonstrations and nonviolent protest, as well as media and legislative work.

Human rights and the legitimate government can be restored in Honduras but it will take pressure on the coup regime.

The Delahunt-Serano-McGovern Resolution calls for the return to democracy and the reinstatement of President Manuel Zelaya.

Despite claims that they've cut ties with the coup regime in Honduras, the US government continues its relationship with the Honduran military. The School of the Americas is still this very moment training Honduran soldiers.
