Vision Warriors Church, a nonprofit in Metro Atlanta, has declared war on addiction since 2013.  Yet society’s stigma on addiction has declared war against the recovery and restoration of lives for thousands of men through the impact of Vision Warriors and the county in which it operates, Cherokee County, Georgia.
 
Cherokee County officials, where the main campus is located, initially granted zoning approval for Vision Warriors but later rescinded its zoning after a small group of residents voiced opposition.  A long and lengthy legal battle has ensued for four years between the two parties.  If the county’s case prevails against Vision Warriors, countless men and families will be severely impacted by the nonprofit’s inability to serve and operate in this location.
