Sadly the cruelty continues. 233,584 cattle left Townsville in the first 10 months of 2020 (Dept of Agriculture figures as at 31/10/20) including 146,594 shipped to Vietnam despite ongoing reports of breaches of ESCAS guidelines in that country including recent reports of "flooding" a cruel practice that involves forcing a hose down the throat into the stomach of cattle forcing them to consume large quantities of water in the hours preceding slaughter, to illegally increase meat weight.

HOW can this horrific trade continue? If life for animals on these floating coffins wasn’t bad enough, the animals are subjected to further evil before and during death. I’m so ashamed and heartbroken to think that other living, breathing beings do this and it’s all for money.

On the 11th of Dec from 4-6 I will be at Sydney Town Hall handing out flyers and stickers, if anyone can make it I’d love to to see you there. Then on Saturday the 12th of December I have an awareness day but I’m setting up at Town Hall at 10:30, if enough people turn up we will March to the Archibald Fountain in Hyde Park at 11:45 and disperse from there.

I know most people can’t make it, I understand but you CAN display an Orange Ribbon on your gate, fence, front door, car or even put an orange ribbon out where it gets people wondering what the orange ribbons are all about....We may not be able to directly Stop Live Animal Exports BUT we can and WILL educate more and more people and we WILL bring and end to this torture of animals..

Please support the Orange Ribbon campaign to help raise awareness...Thank You...x
