Last Saturday at the Sydney PAD, 6 people turned up, 7 including myself. I understand the weather was not favourable but I thought we would have had at least 10 people.
This was a bit of a let down knowing that millions of animals ship each year and we couldn’t even get 10 voices. Thankfully we had sunny skies, it was gorgeous weather and the people (Edith, Janice, Andrew, Maria, Paulie and Pat) did an outstanding job of getting flyers etc out to the public.

We thought maybe next time we would do something different, I thought instead of meeting at Martin Place we could meet at Town Hall, that way I could set up before we started, then after an hour or so at Town Hall we could march to Archibald Fountain at Hyde Park and disperse from there.

I know I cannot do nothing, it stresses me out doing nothing so whether people turn up or not, I will continue to do these days. I am lucky I have a choice.
If anyone has any ideas how to improve it all,  I’d love to hear them. I just want more and more people to know about this and ultimately for live animal export to end.

So I’m applying to do the 11th (4-6pm) and 12th of December 10:30-midday when we would march to Hyde Park depending on numbers, (The capacity is now 500).

Please, Please, Please get your Orange Ribbon out, that is one way to raise more awareness of Live Animal Export...but we need to email people explaining and asking them to do it to...I’d like for anyone who sees an Orange Ribbon to think of all those animals.

The ribbon I have had printed is $1 per logo but minimum logos I will sell is 4. I have car antenna flags $7 and $5 for the hand flags. These include postage. I have T shirts, shopping bags and pens....I sell these not only to raise awareness but also so I can hold more of these protest days.

I’m consider setting up groups in Brisbane, Melbourne and SA that can do regular Protest/Awareness Days and I’ll try and get to one in those states each year..

I’m looking for 2 people to be responsible for the gear etc in Brisbane, Melbourne and SA....I may already have 2 ladies in Brisbane,  I just need to finish the proposal but if you’re interested please email me at sunlily36@gmail.com...
