Friday the 11th of December from 4-6 pm I will be out the front of Sydney Town Hall handing out flyers and stickers, if you or someone you know might be able to come and hold a banner, or hand out flyers/stickers that would be great.
Saturday the 12th of December 10:30 -11:45 I will be there again. If enough people turn up on Saturday, we will March to the Archibald Fountain in Hyde Park and disperse from there. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help out, even if it’s just for 10-15 minutes.
I cannot sell any gear there, so if anyone wants to buy stuff, you can arrange it prior and I’ll bring it on the day.
I am still trying to sort out the Melbourne awareness walk, as soon as I get more details I’ll post them on here. I didn’t get any takers to run the Victoria, Queensland or SA so it comes down to me....I will probably only get to do one per state, per year because to do the Sydney one costs me around $300-$400, Melbourne is an 8 hour drive, Brisbane it would take me 2 days to get there and the same with SA. I’d have to see if I can afford it now I’m no longer......
If you live in the UK and are wanting items, I cannot get them posted at the moment, I spoke to Australia Post and there are some countries who are only accepting essential post (commercial, I think) and the cost is astronomical. The woman said that may change after Christmas....BUT I urge ALL of you regardless where you are located in the world to start flying ORANGE RIBBONS...
I wasn’t ORANGE RIBBONS to become as recognisable as the Pink Breast Cancer Ribbon but it’s up to ALL of us to fly the ribbons and to explain their purpose to everyone you can....
We are all equally responsible for sharing the truth, I cannot do this alone and it needs to be worldwide.. So for every animal who is a victim of Live Animal Exports, we need to have that many ribbons flying....xx
I will update after the protest (on the Friday I will try and go Live on the Orange Ribbons - Stand Against Live Animal Exports Facebook page and maybe also on the Saturday, but the Saturday will depend on how many people turn up...xx
