My recent visit to Vrindavan's Banke Bihari temple made me aware about the imminent Stempede tragedy waiting to happen. One such Stempede happened in August 22 where two people died. 

One has to experience the crowd, where thousands of people are pressed against each other in the narrow lane leading to the temple. People jostle against each other, there is no space to breathe. Even people bring babies and toddlers for Darshan, endangering these innocent kids. Once in the sea of humanity, there is no way to turn back even if you faint or get breathless. It is so scary to be trapped in such a crowd.The scenario is a sure recipie for disaster.

There are no rules for such places. Uncontrolled, unmonitored people are allowed in without any safety measures.

I have started this petition for making such crowded places safe by starting online and off line registration system for having Darshan at the place, specially Banke Bihari temple at Vrindavan, UP.

There should be limited slots for specified number of people allowed on each day. In the digital age this is not atall difficult to manage. Safety of devotees must be a priority. The number of devotees is increasing day by day. 

Such measures can save another tragedy from happening.
