On behalf of all the Stamford Public Schools students, we all believe that our schools shouldn’t make our school year longer and our summer vacation shorter. It is not our fault that there are people traveling in and out of New York and into Connecticut. We did not start the corona virus and we shouldn’t get any consequences for something that we don’t even want around us. Athletes and other after school programs are suffering because of the fact that we cannot do what helps us with colleges and universities. Us seniors shouldn’t deserve to have our graduation backed up, our prom, etc. Please submit the waiver to the State of Connecticut to have these educational days count.
