Stop drug abuse. Educate our students. Be informed about consequences of drug abuse. Stay in school and stay out of jail. Be strong and resist temptation. 

I want to help educate students on substance abuse (drug abuse) at Oakland Tech because everyone needs to learn/know about this. If they don’t learn about it right now, they will be in danger. We need to spread awareness to people. As DrugAbuse.com says, “Drug abuse problems - the myriad repercussions to substance addiction - are typically not high on the list of considerations when someone begins using drugs.” DrugAbuse.com continues, “Some people become addicted to drugs only after they begin a period of experimentation - they might start using because they want to experience the thrill of something new, or because they want to fit in with friends who are also using.” This is a bad sign for students because they will try drugs to be part of the crowd. They should rather make some new friends instead of being part of the crowd. When drugs take over our lives, we will lose control of who we are, how we behave, and what we feel.

My demand is to have the teachers do a presentation in their class on substance abuse. It should take about 15 to 30 minutes. I would be happy to help Ms.Morrison plan substance educational training for Oakland Tech teachers.

My petition proposes to the principal of Oakland Tech that each class should learn substance abuse from their teachers.

My presentations will include the followings:
Teenagers are highly susceptible to drug abuse.
Teenagers want to be accepted in their peer group (cool group).
Encourage students to choose their friends wisely.
They should think about the consequences before acting.
Get help from a professional, teacher, or a counselor from your school.
