We, the neighbors and adjoining landowners of the property located adjacent to the St. Joseph County Restoration Club:

 We believe the private outdoor gun range to fall under the definition of “unreasonable noise” as set forth in the St. Joseph County Noise Ordinance. 

When the gun range was built, most members used smaller guns.  We now hear much louder weapons, such as cannons and AR-15s for 60+ hours every single week.  The noise is deafening.  We must wear ear protection whenever outside.

Therefore, we hereby request the St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners and board members of said gun range to install noise barriers throughout the gun range.
