Save the Grapefruit Trail

Save the Grapefruit Trail
The Issue
The Grapefruit Trail (GFT) and surrounding park area are in danger of being demolished forever. Please help to protect the land for the benefit of generations to come in order to promote healthy, active, outdoor lifestyles. Loved by off-road biking enthusiasts, the GFT is a challenging single track trail with various elevation changes running through wild citrus groves along the Tillman Canal in Palm Bay, Florida. This amazingly unique area is home to 100-year-old Oak trees and is an official City of Palm Bay Park. The GFT is a multipurpose trail enjoyed by neighboring residents on foot as well those who are willing to travel from out of town to experience it's amazing bicycle trails. Surrounded by an urban setting, the GFT provides precious habitat for wildlife and valued open, green space that is readily accessible to the public. Whether or not you ride a bike, please take the time to sign our petition and save the GFT!
