Many 3rd year students and their families have been waiting to attend their White Coat Ceremony only to have it cancelled and replaced with a virtual one due to the Covid-19 virus.

However, there are possible alternatives that the university can use so that the ceremony can be in-person. One being that the ceremony can take place in the Spring Semester of 2021, which will allow for an outdoor ceremony with social distancing, if need be. Another alternative being that the ceremony get pushed further back possibly into the summer or even into our 4th year.

This ceremony is important to many people and marks a milestone in our lives, so why deprive ourselves from a once in a lifetime experience.
