HI my name is George and I am petitioning SSPCA Ive had my cat China for 8 years, she came to me as tge runt of the litter when she was very few weeks old, to date, she is tge only surviver out of her litter. The problem I have is that I was living with my ex girlfriend and we had a fallen out and I moved back to my own address, I had the intention of bringing my cat with me but I would have to source a cat box as mine was broken. While I was away (a day later) my ex very spitefully gave away my cat to the SSPCA. despite the fact she is not the legal registered owner. She made accusations that I abused the cat and that I used to throw her about. This is not true, it may sound pretty weird but China is like a daughter to me, my own little girl is not so little anymore and has her own family, so China was like another little daughter I could take care of and spoil. When I contacted the officer of the SSPCA they refuse to give her back saying she is reserved for another family, however I never gave her away and there is no proof of neglect, now they make claims saying she has to get some of her teeth removed due to infection! This was not true either, my cat was in tip top health because she was spoiled and we'll looked after. The only reason I'm in this situation is because my ex knew this was tge best way to hurt me because my cat means so much to me. Please sign this petition and help me bring my cat back home to where she belongs, with me!!!! She was given away by someone who wasn't the rightful owner!! Now SSPCA refuse to let me have my pet back despite there being no evidence to back up my ex claim.
