Stop CEB from destroying Sri Lanka's environment by opening a 4th coal power plant!

The Issue

It is clear to most people in the world today that our climate is in grave danger due to the effects of global warming and our actions to increase this issue even further. People are taking out into the streets to protest against the carelessness of our world leaders at tackling this issue, against increasing pollution rates by coal power plants and an ineffective garbage disposal system.

Millions of people and animals are dying already! How can we risk our leaders to carry on as if destruction hasn't already been done to our planet? With the initiatives that our country already has towards preseving the environment, the government has sworn to help Sri Lanka grow green and healthy, with no forests clouded with disgusting smoke and fog which could possibly be the devastating truth if we begin to move forward by initiating plans to restart programs such as the CEB's plan on pushing the coal industry to thrive.

No! The coal industry must end, not thrive! It is time that humans take responsibility for the intense damage we've caused our planet and create initiatives to carry it in a much healthier and safer direction from the disgustingly cruel way we've treated it in the past.

Therefore, please do your part to help save mother nature and your lives from being affected in the near future, sign our petition for a newer, safer and cleaner Sri Lanka. Let's try end the production of coal in Sri Lanka once and for all!
