Drinking, smoking and social life are personal choices. However, violating existing protocol and embarrassing the country, shows the lack of national pride and more importantly discipline required in the field of sports (let alone in any walk of life). Time has come for Sri Lanka Cricket and the Minister to take stern action against these clowns and make a change. As spectators of the gentleman's game and embarrassed Sri Lankans  it is time we petition the authorities to make a change that has an impact. Ban these clowns for a significant period of time. Make an example, talent can be easily found and skills can be developed/acquired, but lack of national pride, attitude and discipline is no excuse even if you are the most talented player on earth.
