The Gray Fox and Solid Snake Play Arts Kai figures were very impactful to both the Metal Gear fanbase as well as toy fanatics everywhere. For years and years, the original McFarlane Metal Gear Solid toys were the only figures fans had from the game. Unfortunately these figures haven't stood up well by today's standards. Fans wanted more than a handful of badly-articulated figures that weren't entirely game-accurate and were released a decade earlier.

Late in 2012, Konami and Play Arts granted this wish and gave the fans four of the best figures imaginable, all sculpted by the very same man who designed the legendary characters themselves: Yoji Shinkawa. Unfortunately, the figures were released for a short period and were bought very quickly. Now only months later, the Gray Fox and Solid Snake figures run for around quadruple the price, despite being acknowledged as two of the greatest characters of the entire series. If you agree that these two figures deserve a re-release and would be willing to buy them, please sign the petition.
