Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is a video game directed by Hajime Tabata, produced by Hideki Imaizumi, and published by Square Enix. Crisis Core was released for the Sony PSP (PlayStation Portable) in 2007. Since then, it has not been re-released in any form on future (nor current) video game consoles and platforms.

   The PSP was discontinued in 2014. Its hardware is old, not easy to replace and/or repair, and is not easily accessible. It is important that this title is ported and remastered on modern gaming consoles such as the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5, Xbox One/Xbox Series X; not only for audiences who missed it's release and the PSP, but to also avoid piracy.

   Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII provides additional backstory and context to the original and oh-so beloved Final Fantasy VII. With a great story, a treasure trove of lovable characters, fun gameplay, and a varied soundtrack that ranges from heartwarming, emotionally moving, to absolutely pumping; it's shameful that Crisis Core has not leapt off the PSP and into the modern world of gaming.

   As someone who adores Crisis Core, and it being one of my favorite video games, I cannot tell anyone how much it would mean to me to release this amazing game from its PSP prison. I implore all Final Fantasy fans such as myself to sign this petition and aid in achieving the happiness that would come from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Remastered.
