Kenessaw State University is scheduled to merge with Southern Polytechnic State University. Kennesaw is a liberal arts school with a significantly lower entrance requirements, but they are in need of land. Spsu is an engineering school focused on application based knowledge of engineering and science. This would not be a good mix. KSU would gain much more than Spsu would, leaving spsu students with a lower value on thier degree.
